Kia Ora (to?) scuba board!!

Now I have a question... what was the name of the island where all the Maori came from? is there good diving there? :D

~~ Zack

The Maori are believed to have arrived in Aotearoa from the Cook islands close to 1400 years ago, the languages are similar enough that they can communicate easily.

Hi Paul

Welcome back to NZ, the weather is INSANE! Still thinks it's winter (looks out the window) and falls off her chair - omg is that sun???????)

Welcome to ScubaBoard! :happywave

We'll look forward to you getting a computer and getting to know you too! New Zealand is on my list of places that I need to spend some time in.

Dive safe!

Christian

P.S. Due to the high volume of new posts in the Introductions and Greets forum, it's not always possible to keep up with all the new posts here. So, please help me out and send me a PM if you post anything you want me to read or respond to in this forum.

Aotearoa?? means land of the long white cloud, although there are some slightly different translations for that.

I do not know what the cook Islanders call the cook islands in Maori though.

Howdy!
