Well, I finally bit the bullet and signed up for the PADI Open Water Diver course at a local shop, after tons of encouragement and harassment from some local divers that frequent this board (deepdivered and SCUBAholicED). I take my classes this coming week, and should have my cert dive out of the way in by the end of next week at the latest (I hope). I currently have a ConShelfSE2 regulator setup (1st stage, 2nd stage, octo, console/SPG, etc.) and can't wait to use it. Other equipment to follow as money permits. :D I hope to get to know some folks here and learn to love the sport of SCUBA!
