spontaneous early morning decision to dive today and we scrambled to get tanks filled with a not so "local" friendly dive operator($16 per fill, 100HP steels, nitrox, as opposed to our regular fill rate of $7.99 w/scubatech !). once again warm sunny skies, ESE wind increasing to 10KTS, seas a confused 1-2FT, a bit sloppy. too much current on the USCGC BIBB, so we proceeded to MOLASSES where visibility has been terrific all week. #1: deep buoy M29, light current, powdery blue water, viz 60FT, 77F @ 50-85FT. ho-hum dive not so great for wide angle. #2: transitioned inshore to buoy M4(the aquarium), minimal current, improved blue viz increasing to 70ft, 77F @ 20-30FT. timg changed lenses, very nice colorful dive, numerous subjects,,,,,,,,,,,,HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!
