I just got a new wetsuit and would some recommendations reagrding weight.
I'm 6'1" and 175 lbs. Using an old, beat-up, 3 mil shorty, I was using 12 lbs. The new wetsuit is a pinnacle fusion 5/4. How much weight do you think I should start with?

Start with the 12 and go from there although that seems like alot of weight for a 3 mil shorty. Asking people on here how much you need will get you a hundred different answers. Things like how comfortable you are in the water, what bc you are using, where are you diving? You should have learned how to do a weight check with your gear on. Go do it and start from there. With a 5 mil and steel e7-80 with a bpw I use no extra weight in fresh water. Same set up in salt takes 6 with an al80
