I just got this DVD from XS Scuba. It is produced by Worthington and is a very good resource on how steel scuba cylinders are made. This is a much better video than previous offerings. Take a look.

How a Worthington Steel Scuba Cylinder is Made

After $50 and several hours on the internet, I finally got this thing uploaded to YouTube. Mike at XS better give me big props for all of this work. Anyway, enjoy.

Nice, did you get copyright permission to post it?

That was very interesting

As always...another fine job by Phil. The video makes me want to buy another Worthington tank.

Very informative, I bought 2 HP100 Worthington's this past summer. Thanks for your effort.

Phil,

Is it possible to get the original for educational use?

Our old ones for PST and Taylor Wharton are pretty bad.

Great video! I've seen a good one for aluminum cylinders but the steel cylinder one was pretty short and had very little details, it basically said "they take sheets of steel and hit themwith this thing and then you have a scuba tank." This video explained the process very clearly, and I feel much smarter now! Thank you very much!!!!

But why did you have to spend $50?

Sniff...

It was like watching the birth of a child :D

Good thing that they don't cost like the birth of a child.

I do treat mine like children.
