Still no bids... This is a really sweet deal if you are a loyal conshelf user..

I'm sure someone will buy it. It has 5 days to go! Good luck.

I noticed that you included that the SE2 is easy to find parts for, where?
I need a rebuild kit for mine.
I've talked to three dive shops and they tell me good luck!

I have bought maint kits for the 1st and 2nd stages for my SE2 reg set on ebay within the last 6 months. These shouldn't be hard for a repair shop to get.

Parts for Conshelf first stage and SE2 second are readily available to any Aqualung dealer. While they will happily rebuild the reg, most will not sell parts to a DIY person.

Any real Authorized Aqualung dive shop should have them, Part# 9000-00 is the first stage kit, and 9000-13 is the second stage kit. Our shop still has all the misc pieces still in stock for them. If your shops can't get parts or handle service then they are just soaking their customers.

Hallmac, Will your shop sell to a DIY'er? It is a simple reg and if I run into problems or need questions answered, my instructor can service most brands. Nearest dive shop is in about an hour away but the one I'd rather use is 1 and 1/2 hours away and they just say "good luck" finding parts. Got the same response when asked about rebuild kit for the Pace XL, '83 model I purchased off e-bay. Is there a cross reference of parts for the older Conshelf regs?
Thanks

Tm

According to The Aqualung website, there are 3 Aqualung dealers within 50 miles of Front Royal, VA. You could always send the regulator away to one of the service centers that accept mail delivery. I think Scuba toys does it, maybe Airtech. Either way....Rather than hijacking the thread, this kind of question should be asked in the DIY forum "repairing your own gear"
