My wife(26 years) and I were given scuba classes for X-mas and will be finishing this june at Lake George. We are interested in diving in this area, and learning the ropes. If you can tollerate poor spelling and grammer, we should get along fine! :)

Welcome! I dive in Lake George all the time so if you need a buddy just let me know. Who are you taking your classes with? Also there is a club in the area called the Albany Aquanauts and I will be happy to give you contact info if you would like.

Welcome to SB and good luck on your's and your wife's certification. As you see you have already made a contact to go diving in your area, must be them upstaters are really nice. Anyway welcome to SB, it's a great place to learn and talk about diving.

Welcome Iceguy!! I dive Lake Champlain every summer! Lots of good wrecks up there.

Hello and Welcome!

Your spelling looks fine, but we do have a couple of choices on free spell-check for message boards if you would like to look: click here I did use the Ispell, and but recently switched to the Goggle, and when I remember to use it, I don't seem as illiterate as other times. Of course, the country Texas boy still shows up. Haven't found a program to fix that yet. :silly:

Follow this path to check out our forum for newbie divers: ScubaBoard.Com > Scuba Diving Central> New Divers & Those Considering Diving and let your wife know that she is welcome to her own membership if she'd like.

John Kerney is my instructor, and I found out tonight(we just took our final exam) he is also the captin of the Minny Ha Ha! We are thinking about joining "AA" and hope to make our first meeting next thursday. Do they make us say "hello, my name is don...and I'm a scuba-holic " LOL. Looking foward to diving the areas attractions :)
