Laura & Mike here (adv. open & dive master). I signed up cause Mike's always looking for more dive buddies - it's too cold here in Los Angeles to go diving!

welcome aboard... try our California Kelp Diver's forum
(http://scubaboard.com/f61.html) for info on how to beat the cold.

have you tried Catalina? i've heard there's
awsome dry suit diving there.

Howdy there! :sunny

Welcome to SB!! :happywave Put us in your favorites and check in often. This is a great place to learn, compare, argue :argue:

I'm coming out there next month to dive. Hope it's not too cold...!!

Welcome to the board from Gozo, Malta! Happy Safe Diving!

Welcome to the board. Be sure to check out the SoCal section. There are groups of subscribers getting together to dive almost every weekend, All Year! The water may be considered a bit chilly, but nothing a good 7mil wetsuit or a drysuit will not cure. Enjoy the Scuba Board.

wow, was diving off Catalina in feburary and thought the water was toasty.. 55-59 degrees.. Doing dives over an hour was a pleasure..
If I had that temperature at depth off ny I wouldn't know what to do with myself..
