New to the Forum

Hi,
I'm new to this forum, but it looks like a great place with friendly people. I've been diving over 10 years. My youngest daughter just turned 12 and is completing her open water. I plan on diving with her on the weekends after she completes her certification to work on skills, but I'm looking for other divers with daughters her age to dive with her this summer. It's always more fun for kids when there are other kids around their own age.
We're here in Austin and we live about 15 minutes from the lake.
I thought about getting involved in a dive club again, but every club I've ever dived with only had adult members.

Welcome to the area. You might go by Dive World 1 on Hwy 620 and talk to Mike Moore. He has daughters that are about the same age and at least one of them is certified. He owns the shop and is taking them to CocoViewResort in October. There is a Dive Club there and we are looking to try to do more activities.
