New to the board

Howdy. I'm new to the board and am Sion's housemate. She recently joined the board and turned me onto it.

A little bit about me - certified in 1978 at the age of 15. Dove for a year and left the sport. Rediscovered it three years ago and am now working on my DiveMaster cert.

I love cold water and warm water diving. Diving is pretty much of a zen thing for me. I just like to float and check things out. It's a pretty tranquil planet when you're down there.

Welcome to the board and especially back to the sport! I'm glad you rediscovered diving. The same thing happened to me but only over a couple of years. I was certified in '98 and didn't do any diving until earlier this year and now I've bcome an instructor. Don't hesitate to ask any questions here, there is a lot to be gained from the board and a lot of supportive people here. Have fun!
