I am new to California and new to this board as well. I am hoping to find some dive buddies and gain some knowledge on local diving. I was trained and certified in the Puget Sound while it was snowing..... I had sworn off cold water diving forever, but here I am itching to get in and see what my local diving has to offer. I have been diving for several years, and have over a hundred dives, mostly in warm waters.
:blinking: Looking for local friends of the fin kind!

In your immediate area is Deep Blue Scuba & Swim Center. They have a very active dive club, lot's of dives going all the time, great shop that supports Rec to Rebreather., and a 91 degree pool :)

Welcome aboard here and to the wonderful world of "cool" diving in our local waters.:D

Please feel free to drop on down to our local forum and join in our fun here:

A number of dive shops, clubs and boats in the Long Beach area that you can choose from (and, of course, Casino Point out here on the island). Check out California Diving News on-line or get a copy from a local shop.
