Certified in 2018 w/PADI. I love diving, I just don’t carve out enough time to do it.

You gonna do something about that?

I’m working on diving more. I need a better work/life balance. I have only drive freshwater lakes/rivers in the southwest so far.

The skills you work on their will serve you well in mainstream ocean diving at popular destinations. Per your profile, you're in Las Vegas, Nevada. It's likely to be a flight, but diving California (e.g.: the Channel Islands out of Santa Barbara) or a trip to Cozumel might be just the ticket.

My Research Notes from Planning Cozumel Trip - My Research Notes from Planning Cozumel Trip
My Notes For Researching My California Dive Trip - My Notes for Researching My California Dive Trip (note: a lot has changed since the Conception disaster, so you wouldn't likely be diving with Truth Aquatics, but this may still give you some idea).

Let us know what you're interested in, and maybe someone can give advice.

Welcome to ScubaBoard and Howdy from Texas! Here's hoping you get in a lot more dives. Cheers!

I remember they were trying to get divers to go into the shark reef aquarium at Mandalay bay for $1000 ..

... but seriously, I suppose there is some interesting diving in Lake Mead. Can you still go with the water levels being so low? I expect that may affect all kinds of things visibility, access, etc.

Welcome to Scubaboard .. and hope you find some good ideas here that enhance your diving

Well, it has been a long time since I have posted, ~ 3 years. I am on here fairly frequently though looking stuff up and expanding my knowledge. Since 2021 I completed Master Scuba Diver, it was a proud time. I then went divemaster with PADI. The shop has recently also made a significant change to NAUI after some issues with PADI. We still do PADI though. I have recently finished my NAUI OWSI and am just waiting to get all my paperwork finalized.
Today I was doing research on here - slow day at work. Yesterday I bought a "toybox" off OfferUp for a good price to get a couple things for myself to keep. I quickly went through it this morning before I left for work to get a better idea of what all was in there. I will have some stuff for sale soon as there is a lot that I do not need, its older, mostly tech type stuff. There is a set of Apeks ATX regs, I think an ATX200 DIN 1st stage FSR, ATX200 2nd stage, ATX50 octo, some scratches, but look really solid. An Oceanic VT3 computer with transmitter, an extra transmitter - I think they are both MH8A, a Uwatec programmable digital compass, a VR3 Spectrum computer, a Dive Rite BC with Recwing that has the gusset control system. I am going to test as much as I can before posting it. If any of this tickles your fancy, let me know.
