New to forum...

So here is the deal. I am located in Hawaii, and have been trying to find some people to spearfish with. None of the guys I hang with have ever done it. I live in the best spot for it, I live just off the beach in Mokuliea area, Keanea Pt. If anyone could direct me in the best way to get started, or some types. I've been through Surf N Sea, and they were supper helpful, but just looking for some insight as far as the location Im on.
