Hi everyone.

I'm new to diving and I'm suppose to take lessons (time permitting) in October. Being in central Illinois, there aren't a lot of open waters. I'm looking forward to diving and going on vacations with to oppurtunity to dive. I excited to learn from all of you.

I am from Indiana, you are right there is not a lot of open water around. If you hear of any good spots around our area though let me know. I just went to KY, it wasn't to bad, i'd much rather dive in the open waters though.
