HI:
An Eastern Canadian diver, I love both the warm, clear Caribbean and the colder but fresh water of my home country for diving. My interests are sort of equally split between marine life and intriguing wrecks. At the PADI Rescue diver level, I've done about 75 dives.

On another note, I have recently (probably should have done it sooner) begun thinking a bit more about how much trust to put into dive computers. I have a Genesis NItrox/Resource. I've dived quite conseravatively with it, never even going into the yellow alert area. I do the 15m safety stop as well. On a recent dive, however, I encountered a lady whose dive computer (forgot to ask the brand) was instructing her to do full-blown decompression stops after doing a very similar dive profile to what I have done.
On the same dive there was a dive club whose members dove to the tables, so their dives were much shorter than mine.

Now, I've not had any ill effects following my Genesis, so really have no reason to doubt it. But, I was wondering if any others knew of places to discuss this more, and I would be interested in other opinions as well.

Welcome to the board!
15m safety stop? Did you mean 15ft?
