Most of the board sponsor sell cylinders - if they come with a valve just ask them to credit the cost of the valve. Many will.
You may want to give these guys a call.

I was at their company today picking up some storage cylinder valves , when they told me they also sold scuba cylinders.
The price sheet that I got listed either a 40 or a 45 with a yoke/din valve was $104.95 ea..
Their prices looked good for the complete size range.
