I would like to create a new forum for the kelp restoration project of the Santa Monica Baykeeper. We attempt to transform urchin barrens into productive, diverse kelp forests. We have volunteer divers that do most of the work, and this forum could be a good place for folks to discuss their experiences, or for folks who haven't volunteered to get an idea from the people that actually do it, not just our website. We also would like to have a calendar. It's purpose would be to put our diving days on it so volunteers can plan in advance. Not many divers know about our program and I think a forum would benefit many.
Thanks,
Brian
