I don't care for any backup reg of that style. But that's just personal preference. Might work fine for you.

Loving my Apex XTX 50. Highly recommend it.
You are interested in a reg that breaths easy so look for a reg that has a variable flow control on the side of the 2nd stage This will help with your comfort as you can adjust as with depth. Tons of different manufactures have them. Next go to the individual websites and look for the breating resistance rating of the reg you like if you can find the one you like in the .9 ish range you should be very happy.
