I've been lurking for a few weeks (since I signed up for the SSI open water) and thought it about time to say hello. My fiance dives and the rest, I suppose, follows. We live in Central Florida which makes for lots of great options (which makes me wonder why my open water is in a murky old lake, but, whatcha' going to do?)

Have made it through the first pool session and am loving it.

Welcome to the board. Glad to have you aboard and enjoying our obsession. You live in a great place to be divers.

Welcome to the board! Now you'll have to dive with us some time. Stop by the Florida Conch Divers forum and see if anything interests you.

Hi
I'm thinking of coming down to FL in Dec to do diving. Would it be too hot to wear a dry suit there? I dive in Canada so it's more economical to buy a dry then wet. Any suggestions and are there any chances of doing wreck spec in FL?? Thanks

I dive with a 3mm in the winter. The water gets down into the low 70's.
