Hey all,
I am currently trying to put my life back together after a divorce and decided to fulfill my lifelong dream of certification.

I was just curious how many single women divers there are in the North Florida area? Or how common they are period.

After 7 years of investing my life into building a family I now find myself alone with all of my old friends having moved away. I figured this would be a good way to meet people and take my mind off of things.
Regardless, I am definitely looking for friends and people to meet so if anyone knows of any dive clubs willing to accept a newbie in Jacksonville, FL, by all means let me know.

Let me get this straight? You are a single woman, or you're looking for one? If you are one, you'll be outnumbered a bit; just smile and make new friends. If you are looking for a diving girlfriend, not likely. Enjoy a fun sport and make friends but don't worry about about the babes for now.

Welcome to the party line...

Happy Bubbles.. D-Don

Good going. You'll like the scuba crowd and while you're at it get into the kayak club, .... We have a few single female divers up here in Vermont. I'd suggest getting to know the local shop folks by hanging around, helping out, and stuff. You'll be surprised at how many women divers come in for stuff. Happy diving!

Hey James, there is a scuba club that I know called Buffalo divers. They are a great bunch of guys, there link is http://www.buffalodivers.com/ . They love to dive and spearfish. Look them up, they may be what you might need. And if you do hook up with them tell Walt or Major that I said hello. They know me, tell them that 40lb AmberJack gave me lots of bruises.
