In my post #31 I quote from an earlier post. That earlier post was by Darkstar, not vladimir. I have no clue how this name got changed as I didn't change it. My apologies anyway.

The way transit works where it's operated (London for example) there is no way for arriving transit passengers to go anywhere other than the secure transit lounge, unless they choose to head for Immigration instead. Non-transit passengers can't get into the transit lounge.
If the US operated this system there'd be no need for transiting passengers to get visas, even if for immigration they would need them.
And in most cases transit passengers have no access to either their checked baggage or shops, so there's no need for them to go through boarding security again.
If what you say about Goldson is correct, the new airport will be a boon to Placencia and points south, at considerable cost to the northern cayes.
This happened at least 20 times to the point where I was on first name terms with the security guy that was on the Continental gate at Houston International.

Gaz - it couldn't have been that many times as you got the name of the airport wrong, which is George Bush Intercontinental Airport. I don't know if this is anti-american, anti-George Bush or what.

Eh, no one calls Lubbock's by it's formal name "Preston Smith International Airport" other than the city offices and the newspaper, once in each announcement, and he caused much less damage to the state. Not sure what qualifies it as International, or that we've have ever had a flight arrive from outside, but I'm sure it's take some time to fly in the needed agents.
I don't know how he got into that thot? Anyway, no - there are no international flights there, but it's named that anyway. City of Lubbock - Preston Smith International Airport Now that I think about it, the newspaper also calls it LIA but you certainly don't want bags to be routed to that code (Liangping airport in China) or PSI (Pakistan) any more than one traveling to George Bush Intercontinental (which is international) would want their bags would want their bags routed to GBI (Bahamas). Whatever former governors the airports are named far, LBB stands for Lubbock and IAH stands for Intercontinental Airport Houston.International means international flights arrive and depart. I don't think Lubbock is international. It wasn't the last time I flew from there, only domestic. I guess some folks would rather it be called Obama International! Geez
That'll work, until you say International, which could possibly cause confusion.LOL yeah
I only knew it as flying from IAH to BZE
You can fit some European countries between those two airports, huh?I discovered to my cost there are two (2) international airports at Houston. Landed at one, but overnight hotel was at the other.
