I have just arrived to the States from Spain, I'm looking for places and mates for diving on weekends and also making trips on weekends.

I'm not too familiar with divesites in AR, but I do remember a few other threads discussing some spearfishing in AR that should point you in the correct direction. A bit of a search might get you some info

Hi, I'm from about 2 1/2 hours north of Little Rock, and my LDS is in Little Rock (Rick's Dive and Travel). There are a few lakes in state, I think the closest to LR is Ouachita (pronounced 'wash ih tah' <-- I don't know what the deal is but I had to space that out cause it kept getting sensored.). If you want to go with some locals a few times, talk to the guys at Rick's, they run a boat on Ouachita every weekend. It's an okay dive shop, I'm not hugely fond of the people (waaaaaaay to much 'PADI Pink Snorkel Diver' in the air), but you might like it. http://www.ricksdivecenter.com/center/center_main.html
