Hi all,
I actually joined here to get some information about diving in the Keys.
I've done a lot of searching on the forums but still wondering about a great place to stay and dive.
Does anyone have experience with Looe Key Reef resort and dive center?
I've been to Cozumel twice diving and absolutely LOVED it.
But my boyfriend and I are looking to do a short trip in February and then maybe Honduras over the New Year.
Any advice on the Keys or Looe Key Reef resort and dive center would be GREATLY appreciated!
Thanks,
Teresa
Wonderful WY

There are really nice reefs and wrecks out of Key Largo and Islamorada -- and they're pretty close to one another. I've gone out with a couple of Largo operations -- Quiescience, who only runs small boats, and Silent World, who runs slightly larger boats (you can find both via Google). Both go to the Spiegel Grove quite often, but Quiescience doesn't let you dive doubles or carry penetration lights (if that's what you're into). Silent World is a bit more liberal with experienced divers, but their boats tend to be more crowded.

Have fun.

Just a hint for everyone that may be doing "Google" searches for "Key Largo" or "Largo" dive ops. Largo, FL is near St. Petersburg, FL.....so be sure to specify "KEY LARGO"
