A set of double HP100s loom in the next few weeks, if I can figure a way to sneak them past Mrs Devilkitty.

You have to learn the mantra..."I've had that". Of course it helps if you bought it 6 months ago and just pulled it out!

Expensive year so far.......

Add in an Inon Z240 strobe kit with Ultralight arms for the wife's camera setup!

Now to shop for doubles gear for me.......

bought a scubapro mk25 G250v , needed a reg , was on special , looks awesome , and came highly recommended from ppl on the forum , i love it :)

I converted from a collage of different manufactures to AquaLung and ScubaPro, I still have a Genesis reg with a ScubaPro gage for my 19 cu.ft. pony bottle.
1- Suunto D9 computer
1- Suunto Vyper2 computer
2- ScubaPro SPGs
1- Balance BCD
1- Apex main reg
1- Apex backup reg
1 pair of Seawing Nova fins
2 ScubaPro masks, they make a nice folding mask for backup

The expense was worth it. When you buy junk you buy problems. I've had my share of problems, that's behind me now!

I picked up the single tank BP/W setup from caveadventurers.com...
It included the Oxycheq 30lb wing, the generic 6lb steel plate, and the Oxycheq harness.
Other than that, a mask, and a few widgets here and there, all of my gear acquisitions have been of the USED variety.

They include:

USIA Drysuit
Several wetsuits
4 reg sets
2 tanks
1 Light
Zeagle Ranger BCD
120 pounds of lead
2 sets of Jet Fins
the list goes on...

Finally I had my diving gear complete. Most of the parts were bought during 2010.
So here we are:
1. IQ Safari 5.0mm wetsuit (Ihave a 3 mm Pegaso too purchased last year)
2. Technisub Look mask
3. Beaver gloves
4. Scubapro T-Sport Plus BCD
5. Seawing Nova fins
6. Scubapro Mk 25 first stage
7. Scubapro S 600 second stage
8. Scubapro R-395 octo is on its way from Italy

I'm also planning to have another mask for spare, and another pair of gloves when I will buy my u/w digital photo camera...But it can be done on 2011

It all started with my wanting a drysuit. Started out with a couple used DUI, one turned out to be too small and the other too heavy. So off to my dive store I go, just to look around of course. I walked out with a new TLS350 on order - but that was just the beginning.

1.DUI TLS350 Select
2. Uwatec Galileo Sol
3. Halcyon Infinity BP/W SS BP, 20lb lift, added single tank weight
4. Fourth Element thermals (Artic, Xerotherm, and DryBase)
5. ScubPro XL Jet Fins
6. DiveRite pockets
7. Halcyon P-Valve
8. Custom Divers Hewee Go
9. Custom Divers PLB Canister + mount
10. Custom Divers Radar Detectable SMB + bag
11. Suunto SK7 compass
12. DSS bungee cord wrist mount for SK7
13. 20# of soft weights
14. Dive Rite Shears
15. FREK Tool (Z-Knife)
16. DiveRite finger reel
17. McMurdo Fast Find 210 PLB (fits in the CD Canister above)
18. Lots of misc bags, clips, mirror, sea marker

I already had most of my gear - or so I thought. I've been diving for 30+ years with the exception of the last 5 or so for knee and then back surgeries. The DS was necessary for my back, the P-valve for my sanity, the BC I had no longer fit, fins would not fit DS, Dive computer was recalled so SP gave me a really nice discount on the SOL. Reading about abandoned divers over the years led me to the PLB and other accessories for safety that I pretty much never cared to carry.

A complete set of scuba gear. Ouch.

The pieces I like the most:
Scubapro nova 320 light. What a gorgeous piece of engineering.
Tusa powerview mask. I love the thing. It fits my head very well and does not leak at all.
Mares MR12 first stage and Prestige second. After so many leaky rental regulators it breaths like a dream.

Two Zeagle Flathead VI regs DIN with converter
Zeagle SS BP with 65 lbs Wg
Turtle fins
White Fusion Tech Drysuit
Zeagle Express Tech
2 X 117 cft Faber HP (double)
