Steponwind once bubbled...
If you have plan to come to visit Taiwan,
I could bring you no matter you like to go diving or taste cusine.
Hope there's chance to meet some of you no matter where under water.

Welcome from Texas!!

I'll take you up on your kind invitation [I visit Hsinchu or Taipei at least once a year!] I'm ALWAYS ready for food - and sometimes I have enough time to actually dive! I'll let you know either directly by PM or more likely in the "Asian" section of travel when I next visit.

Welcome again!

Dear Larry and DiverBuoy

Thanks for your welcome.
And I will be here to show you the beauty under water and Taipei.
First let me introduce my home, Taiwan.

Taiwan has mainly 4 places for diving.

1, North East Coast of Taiwan.
Close to Taipei, most of my dives are here.
As winter(Oct.~Mar.) Wind from north-east make this area dangerous to dive, cause we mostly do shore dive here.
Visibility is around 5~10. but you can find lots of small things and surprise here.

2, Ken-Tin
Southest part in Taiwan, a national park,
Can do shore and boat diving here.

3, Green Island
A small island outside south-east coast.
in this island can dive all around year, boat dive or shore dive is good.
The visibility can go over 25 meters.
And you can see hammerhead shark travel pass by this island after Chinese New Year.

4, Orchid Island
A small island down outside east ocean of Ken-Tin.
Cause this island used to be a volcano. now its only a daea volcano.
Great visibility over 30 meter with beautiful geography and coral.

Hope see you soon in Taiwan.
