I just recently received my drysuit back from www.drysuitrepair.com . One of the things i had done was to have my exhaust valve relocated from the shoulder to the forearm. I have been debating having it done for several months. I must say it was worth it as i much prefer it on my forearm than on my upper arm. It is so much easier to dump air and doesnt seem to get in the way at all.
They did a great job of patching the old hole. It is noticeable but looks professionally done and doesnt stick out like a sore thumb like i thought it would. I could easily glue a patch(anyone know of any good scuba patches about 3"-4" in diameter) over it and no one would ever notice but i dont see a need to do that.
Also for you bare drysuit owners i had a set of suspenders installed on my ATR HD for surface intervals. No more walking around trying to hold my drysuit up now. While i had it there i also had the pockets sewed on to prevent any chance of them peeling later on down the road. Over all i am happy with the work i had done and drysuitrepair.com did a great job
