After 2 1/2 years of diving in a 7 mm neoprene drysuit as my starter suit, I saved my pennies and bought a custom CF200. It finally arrived last night! When I opened the box, that huge price tag and the agony of waiting 2 months for it just dissipated...it is beautiful! I cannot wait to try it out this weekend...

Enjoy it and be careful.

Congrats!

I remember when I got my Bare trilam suit. After I had ordered it, I was going diving one day and stopped by the shop for a fill. The shop owner said "Hey! I have something for you!" the second he saw me. Turned out it had just arrived and he hadn't had a chance to call to tell me it was in yet.

I had been planning to dive wet, but I had to use the new toy! Good thing it was Rhode Island in August because the only undergarments I had with me were my t-shirt and bathing suit! I was shivering a little at the end of the dive, but it was worth it! Not like I could have let that thing just sit in my car while I went diving in my old wetsuit! :D

what happens if you wear the wetsuit under the dry?

So, when you guys going out? I'm chompin' on bit to get out myself. Just got Fran's '06schedule. I've been good doing spring clean-up so earned dive time for good behavior. (when kids don't have Lacross, Baseball..)

Pinthis x2 through PG Dive on Saturday the 27th!!!! Reunion!!!

We're also shore diving this weekend plus probably the 20th, as well (I need to get my bouyancy figured out and get used to my swanky suit before boat diving w/it)...

We'll do some harbor dives in July, as well - I saw a few Saturdays - what dates were you looking at? The husband has a few free weekdays this summer - I, sadly, do not. Stupid job.

May be pursuaded to accompany you on Pinthas dive though that is typically weekend I have to help my in-laws open up cottage for season. let me drop hint with boss..

Pls. send me a PM on where you're going this weekend and will try to join you for shore dive. I can probably do early Sun AM. (high tide is in AM)

I remember my first dive with dry suit after pool sessions, training (in lake). Was so anxious to use it. Did a shore dive of Lanes cove when there was still snow on ground. Remember snow got in inflator hose. Was way underweighted and got really warm trying to stay down.

Good to know Cal has weekdays avail on weekdays can play hooky and call in sick or do a 1/2 day

let me get back to you on dates in July. I usually end up signing up last minute.
