hello fellow divers I'm new to this sport and live in corona ca. am looking for some friends to dive with? maybe do some beach dives etc.

Howdy Hunter, welcome to SB, plenty of SoCal divers here.

Welcome!! Any question you have, you can probably find a post about it in the archives, or just ask away and someone will steer you to an answer.

If the weather ever clears we can go diving.

Can you believe I had two boat dives planned for this weekend, and they were both cancelled. Argh!

Welcome to the board. YOu have found a great place.

Be sure to go to CALIFORNIA KELP DIVERS on this forum. There is a sub forum there called SoCAL divers where you can link up with local divers.

For beach diving, call me any time. I try to go at least one day a week, and if the wife does not complain 2 or 3 times a week. Most weeks you can find me beach diving someplace between Malibu and Laguna Beach (Monterey and Sand Diego occasionally). Available 7 days a week, schedule and weather permitting.

http://www.sandeaters.org is a great place too. They are NOT a dive club, just a website with a calendar of beach dives every Sunday. They also have an e-mail list you can join. A message to the list will normally get you a dive partner or 3 or 4.

AOW, 187 dives (15 off a boat) since May of 2001.
