new diver

hi all
just this weekend i have completed my open water qualification.
i will be buying gear in the next couple of weeks to really begin my new hobby.
i was wondering if anyone knows of good shore dives around phillip island as i have access to a house there.
also if anyone would be willing to buddy up to show me the area.
the other spot i travel to regularly. is southend sa.
i have snorkelled there many times and love the coast line around there

i would try http://www.diveoz.com.au/ ... they have a very active Melbourne contingent. And yes there is some good diving around Phillip Island ... havent been diving there myself but have heard others talking about it on diveoz.
