Caribbean Island(s) with Shore Snorkel Access

Looking for Caribbean islands that have good snorkeling with shore access. Also need to be able to get there via Delta. TIA.

Curaçao would be high on my list. Direct flights on Delta from Atlanta Friday-Monday. Reef is relatively close to shore with a lot of good stuff to see in the space between.

There is a dive op that does shore dives, but it’s not something you can do on your own. I don’t know of anyone who rents tanks, plus you can’t rent cars on the island, so no way to get yourself with a tank to the sites.

St Croix USVI. Lots of shore diving and shore snorkeling on the North shore and of course The Fredericksted Pier and Butler Bay ridge on the west.

St Lucia has a direct flight from Atlanta and maybe Boston on Delta. It has great snorkeling/shore diving at Anse Chastanet reef.

Is snorkeling the primary goal, or it is it an add on for non divers in a group?

If primary, Curacao would be hard to beat, Bonaire is also good for snorkeling from shore. Both have excellent shore diving as well
