Most of the divers in the world dream about diving warm water and would never think about cold water dives. I have dove in the Caribbean where I wore a 3mm shorty, not that I had to but for protection due to sun burn.

I live in the Pacific Northwest where all there is, is cold water diving. Here a 7mm full wet suit or even a dry suit in the winter is required.

I don't even feel the difference in the two except for bouyancy issues.

I highly recommend cold water diving to anyone who has not tried it. So much to see that you will never see in warm water dives.
