New Diver needs help Apeks XTX 50 or XTX 40

hello, I have just completed my open water diver's certification. I plan to purchase an APEKS Regulator. I want to know the main difference between an APEKS XTX 50 and APEKS XTX 40. I also want to know what benefits a diver get from the inhalation adjustment feature of the XTX 50. Is this feature really important or is this just another sales pitch? Thanks.
