Since Lynne has not chimed in, someone has to step up to the plate. :D

My needs are identical: tropical waters, easily transportable etc. I bought the Cressi-Aqualight-R (jacket-type) from Leisure Pro for about $225.00. Has everything you would want.

It got a very good write up in a recent issue of "Scuba Diving".

sushi:
I'm a newly certified diver and now am looking to get some gear. My current options for a BC are
a)Mares Morphos Twin
b)Cressi Sub J115
c)Mares Ariel Dragonfly
d)DiveRite Recpac or Transpac maybe - tell me the differences please!

I will be diving primarily in warm waters with plenty of travelling in between. On top of that, I happen to be a female diver with plenty of curves, so i would appreciate some female feedback. There are not many lds' in my country with pool facilities, so trying them out in the pool or sea might not be feasible. Thanks for the help!

You mentioned curves.... I am in the same boat. i tried the Zeagle Zena, did not care for it at all. The zip up vest felt like a straight jacket. I could get larger size to fit breast area, but then bottom was too big.

The Zeagle Zena is one of the few BCs that has interchangeable components. A large vest can go on a medium BC. Ditto for shoulders... if you have a short torso, the BC described above can be fitted with small shoulders.

Ladies either love the Zena or they don't care for it at all.

For the ones that don't love it, we just released the new Lazer BC. The Lazer is very much like the Stiletto with a few feminine tweeks.

To each their own.
