Hi!!!

Don't worry about the cold water. I dive in the South Pacific (Chile)... and believe me that is very cold .... but any way i have enjoyed more than 40 immersions in these waters... is equally wonderful

Enjoy your OW !!!

Welcome to the board! I am a recently certified diver and I can tell you I love it the more I do it. There's so much to see and to learn and it's very exciting!

Good luck in your class and I hope you and your wife have a wonderful and safe diving experience!

hi all...just wanted to introduce myself real quick. my open water course starts within the next 2 weeks and i am really looking forward to get going with it. although the cold weather up here (in NJ) will be set in by the end of class, my wife and i hope to escape to florida to log some dives and enjoy our new sport!

when you start your classes in the cold water what i do is take a gallon of hot water and pour it down the back side of my wet suit and it is good for a full tank. good luck and have fun
