New Diver in SoCal

Hi Everyone:

My name is Mel and my wife and I are new divers living in Southern California. I've wanted to dive all my life and finally got around to getting certified this May. My wife and I have both jumped into the sport and have already purchased our own gear and logged around 30 dives each, mostly around Catalina Island. I'm a nursing instructor (with summers off) so I'm looking for dive buddies for weekday stuff here in SoCal. We are also interested in meeting other couples for weekend diving. This is a great sport--we love it and both wish we had started sooner!

Hi Somewhere:

I'm in Highland next door to San Bernardino. I've dived La Jolla, Casino Point and other spots around Catalina, and Shaw's Cove, here in SoCal and got in 6 boat dives on a cruise through the Hawian islands. Isn't this a great sport?
