Just wanted to introduce myself to the Bottom Feeders!

My wife and I are doing our OW Certification Dives in May at Lake Rawlings (brrr).

We've taken resort courses and have gone on 4 dives in St. Lucia and the Bahamas. Figured it was finally time to get certified!

We are also starting up our own travel company which will open next month. If anyone is interested in booking travel, we'd love to help our fellow divers save some money! Details will follow soon but let me know if you're interested in being contacted when we open.

We're heading to Jamaica in May for 9 days of paradise and plan on doing some diving there. We live in Richmond, Va and are looking forward to seeing you all at Lake Rawlings this summer!

Greetings, fellow denizen of the Commonwealth! Maybe I'll see you at Rawlings this season. . .

Cheers,
Lilla

I really appreciate everyone's kind words here and on some of the other forums. Curious what other quarries are in the area to dive at. I'm sure this information is available somewhere on these boards but it gives me a reason to start up a conversation with some local folks!

There are a few hours north of you..Millbrook Quarry and Lake Mt. Storm. I am familiar with any other southern freshwater sites. You are only a couple of hours from VA Beach and the Outer Banks, which has some good diving.

If you ever head north, give us a shout, there could be some people to hook up with.

Howdy from VA Beach. Rawlings has a new attraction so I'm sure I'll be out there this summer. The ocean here and OBX is hit or miss. When you hit it's great, but when you miss. Well, it ain't alot of fun.

Greetings, fellow Springsteen fanatic! I never go to Rawlings before June, but if you need a buddy sometime this summer, drop me a line.

And if you ever need a buddy for a Springsteen concert let me know! haha

I'll be in Greensboro and Charlottesville in April. Are you getting to any of the shows?

Howdy & welcome to the Bottomfeeders. Great training at Rawlings...hope you get to hit the wrecks off VA Beach soon.
