Welcome to the world of Texas mud hole diving. I still enjoy CSSP. Having all your own equipment is a great thing.

My regular dive buddy is in the process of moving to Austin so I will be looking for someone to dive with on a regular basis as well. Thanks Electrix for the FB tip. I have done one blind meet a buddy off the CSSP message board. It didn't go very well.
 
I am also a noob. Just returned from Cozumel and did my open water at CSSP. Email me and maybe we can get a group meet out there.
 
Hello Firebird. I too am a new diver doing my OW at CSSP this Sat and Sun. Where are you taking your lessons at? I am working with ScubaToys in Carrolton and like the store and staff quire a bit. I started the course with my wife, but she was not ready and was a DOR.

Maybe we might think about budding up sometime.
