new diver from Coos Bay Or.

Hello my name is Jeremiah, my wife and I are just starting our dive classes and are very excited. She has been diving before about 10 yrs ago, so a little refresher is good. I however am very excited to get started. I work with the US Coast Guard here and there are plenty of places to dive around here.
What do the other newbies on the board feel about taking diving into your hands and going to unfamiliar territory. Like going to some place you have only herd of briefly and going for it with your new buddy. I am a little apprehensive but I think that makes me want to do it more. Just the idea of being alone in a new area with a new UNDERWATER experience. WAHOOO I am excited!!! I am all over it.

Dive travel is great exploring, and diving sites new to you part of it. I have my limits, though; I like to sleep in an airconditioned room, etc.

Well, sorry your Intro didn't get more Welcomes. We're a friendly bunch, but SB is getting about 15 new Intros a day. In the rush to greet everyone, some Intros get pushed to page 2 by the system before many of our friendlies members get a chance. And when we take a week off to go diving...!!!
