Can't wait to give it a try, Rick ! I hear they've signed a pretty decent Dive Master :D

Hi Rick,
The Sunfish has to get on the Ca. dive boat web site so everyone can check it out.

Happy Diving

Can't wait to try it out.

I think a SB Oil Rig trip might be called for

That would be nice! I've always wanted to check out an oil rig :D

How deep are those though? Can we still see a lot of stuff in the shallower areas? (<70ft?)

Yay! No ladders to climb! :D

OK that might be worth a drive to Ventura. As DM, are you gonna take my fins off for me at the swim step, Rick? ;)

Francis, plenty of stuff to see above 70 fsw on the rigs!

John

Hey Rick, count me in. How about a little history on the boat and the captain.

Mark

Wow! so many questions:confused:

wetrat, since you brought it up, yes, I will take off your fins.:D

mark99, The boat was previously owned by Island Packers, in Ventura. It was used for a day shuttle and tour boat to the islands. It was completely renovated, from the deck being removed and replaced, to all new mechanical, electronics, and re-fiberglassed. The Captain is Andy Volaski. His brother Tony owns and Captains the Exployer dive boat. His other brother owns the Coroloma sportfishing boat. He has been a boat captain since the 70's, and is from a long line of captains. He knows the islands and coast mainland, like the back of his hand.

red_infinity, our website is being built right now, and will have the scheduling, info, and pictures.

JMDiver, as soon as the website is up and running, we will post on Ca. Dive Boat. There is an ad in this months issue of Ca. Dive News, and a listing on their dive boat schedule.

RosebudRigDiver, Call and schedule an oil rig trip, I'll be there;)

I will see you guys onboard,

Rick
