Well, it seems that people are willing to share a number of non-dive related things on here, so I thought I would jump into the fray! My kids re-decorated my kitchen today!!! I think I REALLY need a dive!!!!:zap1:

I think its cheating if your kids help... :)

Brutal. How old? Do the new colors at least match the old decor? :) I feel for you. I had a puppy that did a number on my kitchen cabinets one night. I had to replace almost all of them.

three and four.... just hitting that artistic age..... :54: jeez..... actually they did fairly well with the color matching so the few splotches I'm having a hard time with don't look too bad.... You know... kind of that underwater on a cloudy day, silt flitting by.... that kind of look. lol

Well, maybe they have a future in home decorating! :) They obviously have an eye for color. What kind of paint is it? Water based hopefully?

I feel for you. Some time ago now, I went downstairs to ask my daughter something (she had been unusually quiet for a couple of hours) and discovered that she had been spending the afternoon painting flowers on our sectional sofa. With nail polish. She was twelve at the time.

ROFLMAO

Man that picture brings back some memories.

Our kids were around that same age when one morning we awoke to find out that they had redeocrated the kitchen cupboards by coating them with most of a large economy size jar of vaseline followed by a liberal dousing of baby powder!

I feel your pain!

She almost didn't make 13. When I saw what she had done, I called my wife and told her to come down and see something. The look on my wife's face when she saw the couch made me wish I'd grabbed a camera.

It's not their fault as this was obviously caused my mixed messages they recieved through our television media based society.

One moment they are watching the nice lady on TV showing you how to stencil pretty pictures on your kitchen cupboards and then on the next channel the nice lady is being lead off to prison for insider trading.

Poor little kids they didn't have a chance...It's not a good thing...... :winky2:
