I took a look at the Bonaire Marine Park rules (actually a video of the rules). Walking sticks were not mentioned. They did state the following: "Coral, dead or alive, is protected by law." and "Touching Marine Life is Prohibited."

Rest assured, if Stinapa sees people "flicking" urchins with walking sticks, they will include them in the regs; most likely by banning their use.

That would be a bad thing, imo, in that a walking stick is very helpful for aiding balance during entry and exit for some people....might be equipping my GF with one soon.

Thanks Daebado! We'll be adding 4 more sites over the next few weeks; 2 that are "must do's" in my opinion. Of course I could say that for many Bonaire sites!
 
I've been watching them since you first created this thread and subscribed at the same time. Nice to see the island. Next time I go I'll probably review the videos for specific sites for those entry point notes.
