About me:

6'3 190lbs (Thin: read limited in da' hips) :D

1ST BC: Zeagle Ranger
2ND BC: Scuba Pro S-Tex

Loved both Bc's! Going too go with BP-W now.

Im thinking about this SS BP:
Travel Backplate
This BP will be 100% warm water diving

Im going too use this wing with it:
Mach V Razor 18# Wing

For a warm water BP/ this looks as streamlined as i can get. Looking for people
that have dived the above BP.

Also If someone could throw up a link for a Great price on a Apex reg set?

Don't expect to get 1 million replies in only a few hours. Most people sleep ya know!

DSS sells a great product, everyone sings Tobin's (owners) praise. He was a great help with me, even though I didn't end up buying one. My first BP/W set up will be from him!

I have an 18 lb wing and it's too small for anything less than idea conditions. It's great while moving thru the water, but it doesn't leave you enough reserve buoyancy.

Take a look at Golem Gear (golemgear.com) for similar products. Golem single tank wing is durable enough to shoot at.

Yeah. They also sell a SS Mark Meadows travel plate that appears to have a stay built into it. It's cheaper than the Oxycheq. I'm thinking about getting one.

The price difference is due to the difference in thickness, the OxyCheq is thicker. I'm not sure if the slots on the Meadows plate are in the correct position to accommodate the STA-less design of the Mach V. As far as I know the thickness of the Mark Meadows plate was originally for the weight of rebreathers.

Thanks all i'll take a look at the suggested BP.
I will also go with a little more lift then 18lbs.
Prob in the mid 20's.
Thanks for the suggestions all.

Anyone dive the Travel Plate?
