Clicked on my normal bookmarks and up pops a new Avast warning for an "exploit". Didn't catch the name before the window closed.

So... In the last 3 hours, is there anything to report? The website monitoring services that I have subscribed to show that scubaboard.com is clean of malware and is not blacklisted anywhere.

Howard,

I use Avast, keep it updated and have no issues to report at my end.

I am marking this closed. If there is something real, then a new issue can be created.

Here is our monitoring result...

Stop what?

I'm waiting for some real information to go on.

I just got a

"figerprinting 3" alert.Have no idea what fingerprinting 3 is.

My norton stopped it,had it happen a few times today.

These kinds of reports are extremely frustrating, because I am not using Norton, Avast, or McAfee.

If people are getting these warning while on an SB page, I need more info. Screen shots or something.

It's entirely possibly that some link is being mis-interpreted?

There was a link to this -> h t t p :// w w w . scubaboard .com /t4823/s.html in this thread -> http://www.scubaboard.com/forums/tanks-valves-bands/4918-din-vs-yoke-valves-2.html

this link goes nowhere. The thread mentioned is from 2001. We've changed directories since then, and that link is an archive link which just won't work. Perhaps the virus scans see them as malicious?? I have no idea.
