Does anyone know the specs? What they weigh full, empty? I have a lead on a good deal for 2 and was thinking of making some doubles. I dive in a cold climate so a little extra weight is not an issue.

Thanks.

I hope to be able to take it off my weightbelt so it will be a wash in the end.

Agreed, but for $200 a tank, brand new, I am willing to shuffle some weight around.

Warning : Nobody makes 7.29" bands. It leaves the manifold with about a 1/4" gap on each side between the valves and stop nuts.

So what does that mean? Aren't the manifolds supposed to be adjustable? So long as the o rings are still within the valve channel shouldn't it be ok?

I have Sherwoods HP100 which I believe are Genesis and they have similar specs including the diameter. I had no issue to double them using standard 7.25 bands and Dive Rite manifold. The only warning is that they are very heavy and made me head heavy. Using trim weights to correct it results in being overweighted

I eventually broke them apart and use them as singles, they are fantastic for cold water diving with their extra negativity but I would not recommend them as doubles.

The manifold spacing isn't that good with 7.25" bands. The backup o-ring just BARELY engages with the OMS manifold I'm running.

Not having the isolator barrel o-rings completely sunk in to the valves increases the risk of manifold failure in the event of a manifold strike.

Also, as mentioned, they're pretty bottom heavy.
