New AquaLung i770r Owner - Syncing Transmitter

So I just got an I770r for Black Friday during the free transmitter deal, but not sure if I'm syncing the transmitter wrong. The watch says No Avail when I click on transmitter, but I added it through the app and synced it. I put the # after the FC. So 00XXXXX. Is the battery on it dead already?

Is the transmitter on a tank with pressure in the regulator system? If not, then it is not transmitting.

Ah yes, it is not connected. I don't own my own tanks. Guess that makes it a bit difficult to test if its working though. Thanks

When you get it hooked up to a tank, it's very easy to sync, and it stays synced. I love mine. I have had 9 different computers and this is the best so far.
