atlast got my new a85 looks like its going to be a blast been reading the manual wow ! i know next to nothing about pictures
so i'm going to read practice read practice then start all over again before i get the housing. I want to get this thing understood so i get good pic's I got to do alot of forum searching
i'v found some good info already.
the editing software with the cam didn't look all that good
but i love the camera so far.


hope to get it to the water soon!!!!!!!!
 
One little secret UW photographers don't like to admit: Editing on the computer is where half (at least) of the creative work is done. Of all those great photos you see 90% of them did not come of of the camera looking so good.

There is a steep learning curve on image editing software. It can be more complllex then using the camera. (The camera does pretty good in P mode
if you under expose about 1/3 stop and turn the macro mode and flash on and off as required) As for image editing software, one more secret: "www.gimp.org". it's the second best package on the planet (after the full up Photoshop) and it's free (as in both free bear and free speach)

Man, I just dropped mine.........some scratches, oh well.
