We just released part two of our A Diver's Life special edition of Conserving Bonaire's Sea Turtles and we think it is even better than part 1! Come with us out to Lac Bay to witness a Sea Turtle Conservation Bonaire in-water survey of green turtles in the bay. Most will never see green turtles up this close. Most of the people at this survey are in fact volunteers which shows you how much volunteers are important to this organization.
We then meet with the STCB manager, Kaj Schut, and learn the extent of their amazing efforts both on Bonaire and throughout the Caribbean.
We then take you on a shore dive to a secret entrance into Turtle City, on Bonaire's wild east coast, to film these amazing seat turtles up close in the wild. Not only will you see these amazing turtles, but you will see Bonaire's east coast in brilliant color as we take our big camera to film it. The reef seems to radiate sunlight like gemstones in a brilliant display of colors! The experiences we have are among the best in living a Diver's life! Come along with us and see it all for yourself. Wait for the end (you will see 2 enormous spotted eagle rays silhouetted in the setting sun).
We would like to express our gratitude to Sea Turtle Conservation Bonaire, and their volunteers, for the work they do and also for helping us to make this special edition possible.

Another fantastic video by Rich, who lives on the island and has an intimate relationship with the local population and diving community!

Thank you! It was a real pleasure to work with Sea Turtle Conservation Bonaire and their volunteers to bring this to our viewers. We hope it will grow awareness and get more people involved in conserving these amazing marine species.
