I was wondering what the difference between the old and new 32# wings is if any besides color. It would be great if the center panel was narrower so the overall profile is more inline with the Oxycheq MKV, Which I refuse to purchase due to an issue I had with a warranty concern on a previous product.

I emailed Chris a few days ago & was wondering the same thing, have not heard back as of yet. Would be nice to know what upgrades have been made if any. The lp inflator hose looks longer from the pic ive seen on DRIS..

The picture I can see on DRIS looks like the 23# wing, not the 32# wing. I think i've read in various threads about some of the features of it.

HOG Gear 32lb Wing for Single Cylinder Diving - Dive Right In Scuba - Plainfield, IL

Also found:
The 2012 version of the HOG 32lb Wing is perfect for larger or taller single cylinder diving (it is 4 inches longer than the HOG 23# version) with backplates and sport BPW system BCs. Completely redesigned, the 2012 HOG 32lb Wing features the donut oval wing shape, oval style corrugated hose and a high-quality metal slow-flow power inflator design with swivel QD post. The center features both cam strap slots as well as one set of 11-inch center bolt holes. Using the cam strap slots, the HOG 32lb wing can be used directly with the HOG brand backplate without the need for a Single Tank Adapter (other backplates will require the use of an STA.) Made in the USA, the HOG lb wing features a heavy duty 220 denier nylon bladder with a 5mil urethane coating on the inside, covered by a 1680 denier Cordura® fabric shell. The HOG 32lb Wing comes standard with offset positioned plain 90° elbow, 16-inch corrugated hose and 22-inch low pressure BC inflator hose. Approximate dimensions uninflated: 25-in H x 19-in W (53.3cm x 43.2cm).
This next generation wing also includes a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects (transferable) and a 10 year Pinch Flat warranty for the original owner.

Just got my revised 2012 version of the Hog 32lb. wing, this thing is so sweet! Love the longer lowpressure inflator hose & the new style metal power inflator..
Great product Chris & thanks again Mike @ DRIS

Post up a pic! I wasn't a big fan of the original Ho2 32 due to it's size. Would be interested in seeing the improvements

The new wing has the same power inflator as my old wing (I think), I was a little disappointed with the new corrugated hose and LP inflator hose I like the shorter versions better. Where the old LP hose was just a little too long the new one is way too long. I did notice they got rid of the reinforcing strap that the corrugated goes through on the old wing. I would like to have seen a narrower profile though as I think the center panel is wider than it has to be. Overall the construction seams very good but I guess you can't please everyone. I would like to hear from Chris why the center panel is so wide, was it due to cost, he feels it is a better design, fells it vents better? Not a criticism just curious.

have you seen the 23?

which center panel? Not due to cost, mt new wings cost more to produce. the new corrugated hose I have more complaints it is too short than too long... interesting isn't it?

You must have the very first generation HOG 32, it's been produced in 3 locations now.

The inflator on the first and the 3 HOG 32 are the same.
