We were there and had LOTS of fun and even saw a few things. I will be creating this Blog in two steps. The first will be to get the pictures out here for you to view. I will then go back and add a caption/info on each picture. There are a few pictures from the first day that are not in my gallery yet... Look for them in the next day or two.

This appeared to be the BEST DEMA that I have ever attended in terms of shear numbers of exhibitors and attendees. The people who came were focused on business. There were a few new gadgets here and there, but nothing too earth shattering.

The next Ten Pics:

This was truly an awesome find.

Even Nick Hollis was jazzed about the 3D camera and images.

Dema2010_016.JPG

Howard took a lot of time to bring me up to speed on the state of the Camera Art.

Nikon and Canon's entry into the 'Hybrid" Point and Shoot.
The ease of a Point and Shoot, but they accept different lenses and have a HUGE image plate.

There was a lot to see, and I doubt that I even got 10%. I have hardly any of the resorts this year and concentrated on gear that caught my eye. Did I miss anything? I'm sure I did.

The best part about DEMA is meeting the peeps in person. Whether it's a manufacturer, a resort or just another ScubaBoardian, the personal connection just makes it all more fun.

I can't believe I don't have a picture of their PDC!!!
It's easy to read, recharges by light and is upgradeable via the internet. Good stuff!

Buddy Link: It's small, sticks to your mask and operates by tapping.
I have no idea how effective it is.

XS Scuba was a cut above the rest with all of these ultra cool cutaways of cylinders and valves.
This is a kind of a crude tutorial on how they make their gear!
