I am looking for a few experienced divers who would like to dive with me on Neptune Reef to lend a hand, with some light duty (tightening bolts, gluing covers, counting, maintaining buoys, etc.) Go out nearly every weekday with good seas.

Boy, I'd love to. I'm a teacher & I'm off for the summer. Unfortunately, I live on the wrong coast.

That would be awesome to do. Maybe we could set up a day trip to go over there and help out. Maybe leave here early in the morning get ove there and dive and then come back that night. I have done a trip like that before. It's not that bad. I usually drive home while everyone else in the truck sleeps.;)

I would love to help out! Unfortunately, my schedule during the summer doesn't allow me to "commit" to a specific day, but during the fall/winter I may be able to. Let me know if this would work out for you! :)

Well I'm also a teacher, so weekdays during the summer are not a problem, and I live on the "right" coast, right city for that matter. Don't know how much experience you are looking for though.

Dang. I live on the "right coast," would love to help out, but work during the week. :(

My wife and I dive the Neptune site often, and would love to help out. However, we both have 9-5 jobs on the weekdays, so weekends are the only days I can offer help. If you setup something for Saturday or Sunday, please let me know.

Thanks a million for the interest. Most of the work I do is during the week because the divers are on the reef on the weekends but I do go out some weekends.
We are on the weather's schedule. Most of the work we do requires calm seas and we can rarely predict that we will have them more than a day in advance so we are basicly "on call".
There is really no experience necessary except as a diver. You need to be very comfortable so that while you are working you don't forget to breath or check your gauges.
If you want to be on my call list, send me a private message with your contact information.
Thanks again,
Jim

I feel a "mental health" day coming on. :14: Will send you a PM to get on your call list.

Jim, I'd love to help...recently purchased a placement there for myself. While I do work an 8-5 M-F schedule, I take days off on occasion, and would know a week or so in advance when I will be available. Let me hear from you.
